Let me start by saying ,I am no Fashion connoisseur. I believe fashion and style is all about trial and error. I dare to try so that I can give you all an honest feedback of what works and what doesn’t!
This post is to all the mommy’s out there. It’s hard to juggle kids, cooking, cleaning, working and just life on a daily basis. And how do we look good doing all that right!?.I always wanted to write this blog and I must have in my thoughts a multiple times and erased. But I think I finally got it right this time! . So I came up with 8 mommy must haves to add to your wardrobe this fall.I really choose these 8 to make sure you can always mix them up and get as many looks as you can from day casual to a girls night out !
1. Zella Black Midi Leggings
I am being really specific here about the brand, color and length but its all for a reason. These leggings from Zella are so comfortable and fit so well it made me look skinny even when I was a good 170 pounds ( I am 5’3”). It holds your tummy in and doesn’t give way. I have washed them maybe 30 times so far and it still looks the same. I live in them from my son soccer games to the gym or grocery shopping. If you are short like me please get the midi length, its hits perfectly right above the ankle.
2. Oversized Jacket
I have a few that I like but I choose to share this one! I love a green military jacket as it acts as neutral to any outfit. Its perfect to wear on a chilly morning while taking the kids to the park or in the evening with a leather skirt and Cami. This is my favorite one from Topshop, but any oversized jacket will do really.Denims are great too!
3. Black Madewell Booties
These madewell booties have the perfect heel with tons of comfort. They can be worn all day… I mean it.. ALL DAY and you won’t feel like you are wearing heels! You can pair them with the legging or a dress or the leather skirt , just depends where you are going:) They are currently on sale , go check it out, you will love these!
4. Black Satin Camisole
I am in love with this cami. I wear it alot. I know its fall and this one looks more summer but the satin and lace makes it so pretty and dressy for fall. Add this under a blazer or pair it with a leather skirt and colored pumps and you look a million bucks!
5. Color Velvet Pumps
If you follow me on Instagram you must have seen these pumps. I love to wear black, I know we all do, so these add a pop of color to all my non-experimental black outfits when I really don’t want to think much about what to wear!
6. Topshop Merci T Shirt
This is my absolute favorite t-shirt. If I had to say one thing you should get from this list it would be this. Ok no its my second thing actually. The first one is saved for the last. It’s so easy to pair with a dressy skirt, leggings, jeans, trousers, blazers. I can style this one so many ways from casual to edgy. It’s a nice thick white tee, so it’s not see through at all! You will love this I promise! There is the black version of this too as well! I got a Medium in this cause I like my Tee’s to be a little loose.
7. Black Leather skirt
My most latest purchase and I have to confess this is something out of the box for me . A leather skirt can get super pricey but this one is faux ( its looks like leather to me) and only $20. It can easily be worn with the black booties, pumps, satin cami or the topshop t-shirt!
8. Bar Necklace
Ok so this is my absolute favorite. I haven’t stopped wearing it since I got it and its been like 4 months now. This bar necklace from made by mary with love is everything I want. You can customize it ( I have my kiddos names on it) and chose the length of chain you want! The best part is that I wear it 24×7 to the gym, to the shower, to bed and the gold still shines. My 1 yr old pulls on it practically everyday and it hasn’t broken even once.! I hope I don’t jinx it now ..lol.
